朱小北（周韵 饰）与丈夫陈言（孙红雷 饰）结婚三年了，她越来越感觉彼此间少了往日的激情。摄影家果青（丁志诚 饰）因被妻子误解而离婚，下场则是净身出户，离婚后他背着相机游走在荒山大漠中，在孤独中他似乎明白了什么，暗自发誓不再相信所谓爱情。回到北京后，他遇到了寻找激情的朱小北，男女之间都似乎触碰到了那个最敏感的点，致使双方陷入痛苦与纠结中。小北在乎的是丈夫对她的爱，而果青则为内心的承诺自责。当陈言察觉到妻子异样时，单位婚姻不幸的女同事汪丽琴（严晓频 饰）开始向他暗送秋波，刚开始陈言本着对家庭负责的态度装傻充楞，但事情的发展很快就偏离了正轨......
