1932年某日，岫岩县雕玉大户苏家大儿子苏沪和采玉大户葛家女儿冬梅举行婚礼，这时，日本人攻入县城，婚礼中止，日本人小野报请上级，成立东安公司，占有中国玉石矿，加工雕琢玉石器件。苏沪被日本人胁迫勘探玉石，趁机上山当了土匪，后加入抗日义勇军。二儿子苏樱投靠日本人成了商会会长，葛家女儿冬梅去寺院当了尼姑。小野听说葛家挖出一块老玉，便想雕琢一个中国地图形状的大公鸡，给日本天皇做寿礼，葛老爷子叫苏沪把玉石沉入苏子河底，苏樱帮助日本人又从河里捞出，小野逼迫曾给溥仪、张作霖雕刻玉石的苏老爷子亲自操刀，这时，冬梅受义勇军指派潜入苏家，带来炸药，准备把玉件炸掉，苏老爷子施计，用顽石换成寿诞礼物，结果在装船时败露，苏老爷子跳海身亡，小野给天皇的寿礼失败，小野刨腹身亡。解放后，公鸡玉件成了国宝， 进了历史博物馆。http://www.kulekan.com/guochan/62903/
