自赖布衣以风水免去一身官职后，便与胡菁菁成亲，生活清闲安定。某日衣遇上张阳超和孔慈这对亦擅长风水卦象的师兄妹，慈对衣一见钟情，但因妒忌他的名气，于是两人由乡村斗至皇宫，各自施展绝招破解对方卦穴。 衣被慈连番作弄，自感未能精通堪舆之术，遂上山访寻名师。衣先拜得女北斗不过九为师，怎料却遭超戏弄，终被九逐出师门。后来衣无意中遇上南泰山凌林陆，并跟他钻研风水学说。 原来陆与九乃一对欢喜冤家，为争长短，两人订下由双方徒弟慈和衣来个风水大斗法。怎料慈和衣竟在斗法期间摆了大乌龙，闯下生死大祸......
