《痴情劫》的故事发生于八十年代的香港，故事环绕着一个富家少女庄亦宁 (陈秀珠饰) 而发展。她爱上好朋友之未婚夫，引致好朋友在其家中自杀。此事使庄亦宁大受刺激，需要心理治疗。医治期间，年轻的心理医生杜洛夫 (石修饰) 竟爱上了这位病人，并且发现到亦宁在五岁时，因目睹母亲杀人，形成一种不太正常的心理，以夺人所好为乐，后来亦宁爱上有妇之夫，也是由于这种不正常心理所造成。
