《外滩警事》是由上海《东方剑》文学杂志社策划、编写，联合社会第三方摄制的当代都市题材警察故事。该剧以上海优秀社区民警帮助和服务群众的近千个真实案例为蓝本，以老警长马兴国、副警长陆毅不断培养和摔打3名新警为主线，塑造了上海公安“外滩警务组”新、老民警面对社会的迅猛发展和变化能够直面挫折、敢于突破自我、善于疏堵导流的当代警察新形象，将85后、90后年青一代乐于尝试、善于合作、敢于担当的开拓精神完美展现。
