星战系列将推出新动画《星球大战：抵抗组织》(Star Wars Resistance)，这部剧集已经在制作中，讲述《星战7》故事之前，年轻的抵抗组织飞行员Kazuda Xiono接到绝密任务，要去刺探第一秩序的情报。BB-8、Poe Dameron、Captain Phasma等人气角色将亮相，后两位的演员奥斯卡·伊萨克和Gwendoline Christie也将为相应角色配音。制作团队则包括《星球大战：克隆战争》和《星球大战:义军崛起》等星战动画的很多团队成员，主创是卢卡斯老员工Dave Filoni，该剧预计今年秋天在Disney Channel和Disney XD播出。
