在《画江湖之换世门生》的故事里，第一主人公念阳枭来到了一个被称为“易界”的平行世界。在这个世界，各方势力暗涌纷争，其中无宗会与五元堂结有世仇，刀斧帮也想在江湖上分一杯羹。被认作是无宗会少主的念阳枭把五元堂小姐空灵慧当成是自己在另一个世界里的爱人，因而对她处处维护。但空灵慧则一心致念阳枭于死地...与此同时，神秘的少女永儿、风流的街头小混混、冷面警官诺顿等人也出现在了念阳枭的周围，将他卷入了一个个复杂的事件当中...而念阳枭并不知道的是，这些事件的背后一场更大的阴谋似乎正在酝酿...
