经过了上一次的经营蛋糕店失败，Max（凯特·戴琳斯 Kat Dennings 饰）和Caroline（贝丝·比厄 Beth Behrs 饰）继续当餐厅侍应生。在本季中，Max和Caroline的蛋糕事业有了重大进展，她们利用老板Han的餐厅，重新开辟了一个卖蛋糕的小窗口，虽然新店略显局促，但二人仍然为此感到兴奋不已。老板Han嘴上说要收取她们铺租，内心里还是很支持她们的事业。另一方面，厨师Oleg对前女友苏菲念念不忘，想与她重归于好。苏菲却似乎早已放下他，重新过上了风流快活日子。 一日，Han宣布他请来了一个新员工Luis，个性十足的Luis是个基佬。初来乍到的他，居然马上就看中了直男Oleg……
