《K》是以革新作家集团「GoRA」的7名匿名作家的小说为原著。 故事以与现实有着微妙历史差异的现代日本为舞台，描写了七位“王”各自的执着，以及被卷入其中的少年的命运与异能者之间战斗。 “赤之王”周防尊所率领的吠舞罗与“青之王”宗像礼司所率领的Scepter4因追杀某起事件的嫌疑人：—名为小白的伊佐那社而互相对立。但小白对这件事却没有什么记忆，毫不知情的他逃避着来自两个集团追杀。而出现在这样的小白面前的是身着黑服的纤细长发少年——夜刀神狗朗。也正因为与他的邂逅，小白的命运从此走上了不同的轨道......
